US Cavalry feedbags
Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between an 1859 Civil War feedbag and an 1885 Indian War feedbag. I have been trying to find images of both these feed bags as well as anything that came after them but the best I have been able to do is find line drawings in some of the books I have on saddles which only show one view of them. I have also got different answers from collectors that do not agree what the books and specifications say. Can anyone help me with this?
