Excellent! That is an interesting sled mount for that MG08. Is that exclusive to Chile?

Unfortunatelly I don't have that information but I asumme it was of German design, as most of the military equipment in Chile at the turn of the 20 century.

Huge horses anyway for chilean standards, probably Percheron/Chileno Horse (criollo) cross.

Most of them I have seen and handled look like this one. http://www.imfdb.org/images/thumb/0/02/ ... imMG08.jpg
Although they add a bit of weight, wheels aren’t a bad idea.

Interesting pix. I am always caught a little off guard by the Teutonic look of the Chilean Army.
