Here is a picture of an interesting US Cavalry marked entrenching tool cover I have. It statrted out as a M1905 model made in 1910 and was arsenal converted to a M1910 model sometime down the road. I use it for a cover on a M1912 experimental entrenching tool I can't afford the real leather ones ...

Thanks Trooper I enjoy putting them together. I lived in Colorado for 30 years and came to work here in Idaho for a British company (BNFL) British Nuclear Fuel Ltd. Have a great Holiday!

Here's a 1928 McClellan I have with 1942 dated non-cut down stirrups. The saddle bags are the M1924 with an additional pouch under the flap.

Here are couple pictures of the Veterans War Memorial for Oneida County in Malad Idaho. My wife and I stop there on every trip to Salt Lake the old fashioned drug store has a little bit of everything.
