Merry Christmas to all...

Attached is a menu for a Christmas meal on the Texas border in 1916. As you can guess from its condition, the meal was ruined by a horrible winter sandstorm.

For the first time in living memory, we actually had a white Christmas here. Measured a couple of inches of snow in the yard. It was really rather pleasant.
