I'm surprised, really, as this is a GPMG, which would seem more easily transportable by pack.

The Russians used a horse-drawn one called a tachanka; seems to me, that would really be of more interest to this society. The horses must have been pretty combat ready. There is a rousing tune, "Tachanka," that I've only known as an instrumental number; but I hit upon this Soviet era video of the song, illustrated with animated pictures of the use of such carts.

That's the best version online, at least for English speakers, because it has the translated text. But while one has that video up, there are links on the YouTube page to other versions of the piece. At least one is illustrated with a good number of photographs of the tachanka, including some in museums and some in the field.

There's also an informative Wikipedia article on the tachanka, with a photo of one captured by the Germans during WWI, and displayed on the street in Berlin.
