It has been almost two months now. I miss hearing her and seeing her. I've been collecting some Cavalry equipment for WWI and WWII.. It's been hard. Thank you for the support.

Just let everyone know. I lost my wife of 40 years on Wednsday Sept 3rd. Her kidneys gave out and turned septic. She went peaceful as possible. I'll be taking a short break fire a while.

Thanks I know that after the Puntitive Expedition from 1917 on the regular Cavalry from Ft. Bliss operated on the border.

Stations of the U.S. Cavalry prior to WWII

Does anyone have a list of where the U.S. Cavalry was stationed at prior to WWII? I know that after WWI The 1st Cavalry Division was stationed at Ft. Bliss, Texas along the Texas/Mexican border until 1944. What is the Offical date that the United States abolished the Horse Cavalry?

Looking for information. Did the U.S.S. Indian Scouts have guidons? I know that there is flags with bundle of arrows with a bow across the bundle, with the name of tribe or nation on it. If anyone has an example of a guidon please post it.
