Hey chaps. Horse cavalry ceased to exist in the CONUS in 1947,the last tactical training was by "The Cavalry Squadron (horse)" Lt Col John F Polk.The Squadron was made up of a HQ and Troop "A" and "B". The Sqn was was inactivated in December of 1947 on the 20th. All per...

The 129th Sqn was originally "Rifle Sqn,29th Cavalry Regiment(composite)" and was retitled as a separate Sqn in late 1944.
