Pat
Is there a time frame for this photograph?
At the end of WWI the Finnish Army purchased 1000 horses from the Australian Army.
Apparently they were a little underwhelmed with the quality of the horses when they arrived.

We had a bit of a laugh last time we were in Washington,,, the WWII memorial says WWII was 1941 - 1945,,, that sounds real funny from our perspective - makes me wonder what my dad was doing in 1939, 1940 and most of 1941 if the war did...

Re: Sept-Oct 2014
Thanks Guys I am sure the Rocket Museum will be on the agenda - we are being hosted there by an old friend who is well versed in the military history of the area. Looks like we are extending our stay in the Wyoming (Rosebud, Little Big Horn etc.) area and then heading to visit friends in Huntsville for some time visiting some sites of historical interest around Chattanooga and Chickamauga.

Please!!! That movie was made here but I can assure you the story came from your side of the pacific and the crew and directors as well as the main actors were all from there too! I was involved in it from early on when it had the working title of Fiddlers Green. We even offered the services of a mi...
