Really goofy cavalry movie

Eldest daughter gave me a Netflix subscription for Father's Day so I have been watching old classics, and also dredging up films I saw decades ago and barely remember. In the dredging category, we watched The Hallalujah Traillast night. It revolves around Ft. Russell, Wyoming, Denver, Colorado, and points in between. Most of the action involves the cavalry, although there isn't an authentic moment in the film or costumes other than lots of horses and mules and quite a bt of trick driving of teams (it is, after all, a comedy).
Movie is moderately funny, very goofy/silly, generally unobjectionable, and completely politically incorrect. It would be impossible to release such a film today.
Nice scenic photography.
The plot involves a wagon train of whiskey bound for Denver and escorted by the cavalry. It is simultaneously intercepted by a group of Temperance women, a raiding party of Souix, and a militia of miners and barflies from Denver intent on defending and preserving the cargo. The collision of forces happens in a bad sandstorm.
I leave the rest to your imagination.
