Famous Polish director Wajda's horse epic .

Greetings all: "LOTNA" is now out on DVD & not to be missed. This is Wajda's famous rare movie about a white mare given to the head of a last Uhlan cavalry regiment about to face German tanks in WWII. Each officer rides her & she is handed down as they are killed off. At the end sadly her leg is broken & she must be put down. A great film & very hard to find till now. I only had a dub of a damaged VHS tape before! Recommended. Grant.
