After 14 years of on and off research and writing, the death of one publisher rep, and then finding a new publisher, I have completed a biography of Gen. Harry D. Chamberlin. The help over the years of members of The Military Horse such as Col. Lou DiMarco, Ron Smith and so many others as well as of James C. Wofford, George Morris, the late William Steinkraus, and Gen. Chamberlin's family has proven irreplaceable. I must get the final copy into the publisher by April 1. In the "clean up" and "odds and ends" phase of this project, I hope to locate a few additional high definition photos of Gen. Chamberlin on any of his horses. I have all of the Olympic photos from 1932, 1928, and 1920 as well as one from 1919. I also have a few photos that his family have supplied. If you might have a photo to share, then please let me know at horseman19492000@yahoo.com. I will be happy to include your name in the bio's acknowledgements page. The current plan: Xenophon Classic Library will publish the biography which will include as an appendix or in a companion volume all of Chamberlin's articles that we have been able to locate. In addition, Xenophon will publish new re-prints of both Chamberlin books with new introductions that I have written together with a re-print the 1942 edition of Horsemanship and Horsemastership the revision of which Chamberlin supervised and in which he appears in photos demonstrating the military seat. More information to follow.
