Here's another fort, sort of, that I recently took a few photos of/about. Fort Maginnis in central Montana, which I'd not previously heard of. The marker only actually marks the location of the now absent fort. Of note, the Montana Historical Marker is somewhat tongue in cheek, which is unusual.

You can see that in regards to Ft. Reno too. Indeed, it's much clearer from those than it is on the ground.
