I just bought an old UP saddle and I´d like to have some help to identify it. I´m Finnish and these saddles are not very common here in Finland and it´s a bit difficult to track British makers from here.
There are B.G.H. stamped on the housing of the skeleton and I just found that the initials B.H.G. means Barrow, Hepburn & Gale Ltd.
On the skeleton tree there is stamped letter M
On left side leather there are following marks stamped:
There is also a kind of D with inside of it three lines, other ends together and spreat downwards
On the both side of the seat are stamps B 42. I guess that may be a size of the seat?
I´m sorry I don´t know special terminology in english but I hope I can get some help.
