Can anyone suggest a supplier for a good reproduction S.M.L.E. rifle boot as used by the British on the Western Front during WWI? Lawrence Ordnance do offer one, but it seems to differ in detail from those I have seen in photo's and I'd rather seek the advice of those in the know than waste money on a poor product (no offence to Lawrence Ordnance, who's product may be excellent!). Thanks in advance for any advice.

I could not find the Lawrence Ordnance boot, but googled SMLE for sale and found one on Amazon, of all places, that looks pretty good. It needs darkening but it is a good match to my original. Also, try What Price Glory.
