The McClellan Saddle

A truly tiresome vision these days is the ever present "McClellan" saddles you'll find at nearly every low-end tack direct mailer or online "cheap stuff" tack place, as well as the popular online auction sites such as eBay. 

This little gem comes from some country of the Asian subcontinent (Pakistan or India), and is a McClellan in name only.  The shape and form is only vaguely like U.S. arsenal and contractor made saddles, and the quality of construction and materials is simply abominable. 

The only advice regarding this excrementable specimen was voiced by Monte Python many years ago -
"Run away, run away!"
