LARGE US MILITARY SADDLE COLLECTION FOR SALE

There is presently for sale a large collection of US military saddles. This collection includes black '96, russet '96, '04 and '28 Mcclellan saddles, mule saddles, M1916 Officers training saddles. M1917 Officers saddles. Phillips Officers saddles, 1 M1912 service saddle. The collection also includes many rifle scabbards, saddle bags, sets of M1885 stirrups, pommel and cantle bags for both the M1917 and Phillips officers saddles. Many of the pieces in this collection were pictured in "THE AMERICAN MILITARY SADDLE" by Dorsey & McPheeters. I had the privilge this week of seeing this collection and it is truely amazing. I have a M1917 WWI U.S. military saddle. No stirup straps or stirups or girth. Useable condition. Does anyone have suggestions for an appraisal? Know of any recently sold and price? Thanks!
