Hello, My name is Cesar and I've come across your website googling UP saddles. I build 1/6 scale miniature saddles and I'm interested in building a UP saddle from the late 1870's. I was hoping someone might point me in the right direction for ref. drawings with measurements, illustrations or decent photos. I did see some pics of the 1856 and those will come in handy. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. This is a link to some of the saddles I done in the past. thanks for looking.

Thank you gentlemen for the compliments. I've been to that website. Thanks. It mostly deals with the 1890 UP. I wanted to start with the 1856. I've noticed the author Tylden came up a few times on this forum. Is there sufficient ref in his book(name of the book?) on the 1856? Looking for overall measurements and illustrations. Thanks.
