Thanks for drawing attention to this saddle. ..obviously for other ranks. It is very difficult to identify without more info or further detail photos from the vendor.
Useful being dated..1887.
I am certain it is not a UP 1871/72 flat arch. Could be a drivers saddle.
But it could well be an example of the 1884 angle arch saddle?.
