Packing in Hawaii

I can honestly say, up till now, the thought of a pack string in Hawaii never occurred to me.

There was army mules in Hawaii until at least 1945

There as also a packers school on one of the islands

somewhere i have some pics

there was also mounted militia on Maui as well
