Any photo i am kind enough to share may not be used without proper credit to myself or www.militaryhorse.org

This is kind of like closing the barn door after the horse has bolted given my recent experience but i live in hope.

How about some details Greg. Like why do some have tall boots (or possibly leggings) and others don't?

Sam
When I get a chance I'll talk to Bill about sharing what he remembers when he was in Japan with the 1st cavalry division and these pictures. I'll show Bill the picture with General Chase this weekend at the Fort Ord Warhorse Day. Bill has a lot of great stories about his time there.

BETA folks took this in June, when Sgt Macdonald rode his horse Comanche II to Comanche's grave during the Guinness World Record "Ride for the Rescues" event.

Bill still rides his horses at 88.
