Corb Lund is a canadian country western / folk singer. He sings about horses, ranching and life in the Canadian west. He also is interested in military history and has an album out a bit over a year now entitled Horse Soldier Horse Soldier. The title track is an interesting and enjoyable synaposis of 1500 years of cavalry history. Another cavalry related song on the album is "I wanna be in the Calvary."

Shoot, I'm not usually too keen on country music, so perhaps it's the theme, but that one is sort of nifty. I'd guess it might be the only country song ever to use the word "Hussar" in it, and maybe only the second to mention Waterloo.
