Hard Press Classics has published a completely reprinted version the 1917 Manual for NCOs and Privates of Cavalry. The nearly 600 page manual is not a photo copy of the original, but is reset in new type. The down side is that it looks like a Word doc converted to Wordperfect with the usual alignment issues. None the less it is complete from the oath of enlistment to the English/French vocabulary. My only real gripe is that most of the photos and some figures are mostly too small to be of real use. Amazon lists a Kindle version for free, and the paperback that I bought for $34.89 US. They also list original copies ,other printings, and other Kindle versions for a variety of prices. I even found the formula for treating leather components after cleaning.
