This is apparently a new History Channel "H2" program. I saw it for the first time today.

I have to admit that the coffee hadn't kicked in yet, and I literally slept through part of it, but the episode I saw focused on the "Horse".

It's sort of history light, but it was was interesting in that it sort of leaned on the theme of the old show "Connections", in that it focused on things that the audience might find surprising. Included in that were the spread of Indo European languages, and the spread of the wearing of trousers, both attributed to the adoption and use of the horse.

I don't know that I'll bother with any other episodes, but I'll give them kudos for including the horse in their series.
