I can't believe this gem of a book has escaped me all these years, it's in its 14th printing.
First published in 1964, it is chock full of anecdotes, wit, wisdom, history, and humor, regarding the American West, horses and pioneers.
The authors lived the life, walked the walk, and talked the talk.
One of my all time favorites, had to pass it on.
