I recently got a group of German veterinary boxes and horse blinders. My guess is that there is only a veterinary use for a set of full blinders like these. Any thoughts about these?

I think that it used to be pretty common to use blinders to calm horses. Muleskinners used them on the mules to keep them quiet while packing the saddle.
I'd love to see picks of some of the veterinary gear that you got. A while back I was trying to research German veterinary saddlebags, as the US Army vet saddlebag was derived from it.

Wish there was more to show. I got three large boxes with the names of German military veterinarians painted on them. The blinders are the only parts of the group that I think have a veterinarian use. There is also a horse covering with good Trains Unit markings that may have been used by a vet but most likely was for general use with horses.
