Catching up on old topics. Of note is using dead legs for practice.It sure saves quicking a horse. In 1979 at Cal Poly Pomona we used the same techniques. Cal Poly had been a Remount Station when W.K. Kellogg had donated his ranch and Arabians for the war effort. As it turned out more war dogs were trained there. Also the chin straps are across the top of the hats. I had never seen that before. Cheers, Steve Haupt
