M1931 Cavalry Boots

Post by noworky » Mon Mar 28, 2011 7:12 pm

I posted some pictures of some M1940 3 buckle boots a while back and have been looking for a nice pair of M1931 lace up boots for my collection. I found a real nice pair in super condition that were made by the International Shoe Co. in September of 1939 I can't make the contract number out and they're a size 9E.

Great looking pair of boots.

The uppers on these are supposed to be elk skin. Do they seem to be particularly soft?

For being made in 1939 they're very soft and pliable good enough to wear today.
